Transition map

Our transition map is the working document we build with you during planning engagements. It is not a generic checklist downloaded from a blog; each section is filled with your constraints.

Map layers

Horizon — What changes within the next 3, 12, and 24 months if you do nothing, and what changes if you act. We date-stamp assumptions so you can revisit them after new facts arrive.

Stakeholders — Household members, employers, co-parents, or business partners who must consent or at least not sabotage the plan. Their non-negotiables are recorded explicitly.

Resources — Savings runway, visa eligibility, insurance continuity, childcare, and energy bandwidth. We mark which resources are locked vs. flexible.

Scenario forks — Typically three paths: accelerate, pause with conditions, or exit. Each fork lists triggers that would make you switch paths without shame spirals.

Chiang Mai context

Many clients weigh moves into or out of Northern Thailand. The map includes location-specific threads: housing lead times near universities, seasonal air quality impacts on health transitions, and dual-income timing when one partner travels.
